Ploppy57: Looking on the bright side, that'll buy a tub of Celebrations/Q.Street and the next £5 could buy a bottle of wine - that's my prezzie sorted lol :D

    Another bit added to mine:
    #3 £219/£650 :)

Hi all, not able to get on here as much as I'd like but I'm still adding to my tin :) Now at #66
    £160/£365

    Hello,

It's not a problem if you are not updating as much as you would like (I'm having similar difficulty myself). The main thing is you are still putting tose £££'s away:)

#84 checking in with £161 for now :)
I feel like I should use this money to put towards my debt. But then I think saving it and then not relying on credit cards, like I have been doing in the past for Christmas, would be much more beneficial for me in the long run, right?

If you're on 0% deals, I think putting those ££'s away towards Christmas, which in turn limits the amount you spend on your CC is the way to go...and you have a very healthy total so far:)

Well since joining this group I had a few problems that needed my money elsewhere, so I have been very slack in saving for Christmas so its almost like I am starting afresh:mad: as my total is only £3 and £2.05 in Co-op vouchers which I am saving till then. So onward and upward and hope to report more next week.:)

Life happens Ploppy and sometimes we don't have a choice:(

The good thing is, you are still determined and we still have a way to go before the end of the challenge. Keep trying and anything you save will be a bonus:)

  • Hi there
Payday has finally arrived so I can confirm that I've held onto all of my £31 saved for May. Don't quote me on this but I think this means all the Godchildren's gifts (how did I end up with so many GCs?) are covered.
