Help and advice please!

I went for the buy a hoody and get jeans free deal from Zavvi the other day, it cost just under £14 which was great! I got the package yesterday and it was only the hoody so I checked online and they'd cancelled the jeans part of the order.
I emailed them and told them I hadn't cancelled the order so what happened. They replied saying they had no stock left so they cancelled it.
Understandably, I wasn't impressed! Especially since they are running a similar promotion today with the same hoody and same jeans and they are all saying they are in stock.

Are they allowed to just cancel a free gift and then lie about having no stock? Are they allowed to just send me the hoody without even telling me the jeans were apparently out of stock, because i wouldn't have gone through with the order if I'd known.
I believe they've conned me into buying the hoody with the temptation free jeans and not honoured it.

Sorry if I've put this in the wrong place, I'm not sure where it should be!

However, offers are usually "While stocks last' so perhaps they don't have your size. You can always return the hoody anyway.
