What are they?

As the title. I have a set of four small pin type things which are curved at the top and set with a clear stone. I've had them over 20 years and were inherited in a box of silver jewellery. They are silver in colour and I can't see any markings.
I am having a mass clear out and I haven't a clue what to do with these. I can't sell them as I don't think eBay has a thingamajiggy wotsit section! And I have bills to pay so would rather sell them.
So from this peculiar explanation does anyone have a clue.
I don't know how to upload photos but happy to if someone could tell me. Thank you.

I'm no expert, but I should think even an expert would need more to go on than that description. Photos at least. You can add photos if you upload them to a website (e.g. photobucket), copy the link, then click the image button on here (next to the hyperlink image) and paste the image link.

If there is no markings they may be silver plated or some other metal, although not all silver does have markings.

Maybe try taking them to a jewellers and see if they can tell you anything. A local auction house may also be able to give you an idea.

Thank you. I don't know how to post photos. I did ask a jewellers a few years ago who said they were real silver but hadn't a clue what they are. Maybe I should email the nearest auction house? They are intruiging. :-)

Just edited to add about photos but you replied fast lol.

You can add photos if you upload them to a website (e.g. photobucket), copy the link, then click the image button on here (next to the hyperlink image when on quick reply, next to the email button and below the redo button on advance reply) and paste the image link.

You could try emailing if they have an address, yes.

I'm sure there are also other forums for jewellery or silver that may be able to help you out. Someone on here may know, but you stand more chance of finding someone on a forum specifically about such items.

No at the top they bend into a curve and they're only a couple of inches long. Think hat pins are longer?? Still trying to work out photo bucket!
    Thank you

There are other image sites. You could google them and see which you prefer.

You have to sign up for photobucket but it's free. You just have to upload the image to photobucket (so click to upload, find it in your computer documents and select it) and it will give you the image link (they give links and image codes for various things. It's the one that says direct that you need to copy).

Tinypic might be easier for a one off.
Go to page. Upload picture. Choose size. (message boards.) Copy and paste link over onto here.

Edit - it's not a nose stud, is it?

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Ah, yeah, Tinypic is good. When I gave Photobucket as an example I just couldn't think of the name of any others, but Tinypic was one I was trying to remember lol. Photobucket is one I used years ago so it's the first one I always think of.
