WiFi printing..getting downstairs PC to print on upstairs WiFi printer??!

I have had printer problems, and understand some of your difficulties.

To try and encapsulate some of the advice above and my own thoughts.

1. Try and give any/all printers a STATIC IP address.

2. WiFi should be on the same network, my TV stick was 192.168.1.2 and my laptop is 192.168.0.2. Different networks from the same Router/Hub broadband device. Changed the WiFi network to my main one and TV stick is 192.168.0.14 and Kodi then installed immediately.
I could not ping the TV stick until I changed network, my printer is
192.168.0.30, both ping successfully.

3. Try a ping to the device.

4. Install all the driver/software for the network printer on all devices, and perhaps make it the default printer.

Ok...again tried an hou of registering on Iprint epson, says 'click could print'-nothing appears!

Installed 'printer share' (free-but will offer a 20 second countdown before printing offering premium)-SIMPLES! Installed within a minute, simply follow on screen prompts, click settigs/menu (depending on device) & click 'share link'-scroll to printer share-print-job done! Admittedly it won't (I don't think)-print remotely from far away as iprint does but for me it's great-following a fairly low carb diet so can lie on the sofa with the tablet & print recipes (how lazy I know!).
