I'm pretty sure once they claim benefits in their own rights you can't claim child tax or child benefit for her (used to be that way before ESA came in)0
-
as above.
she can't claim for herself as an adult whilst you are claiming her as a dependant child.
you need to work out which leaves you better off and cancel the other.
all the time you are receiving both you are amassing an overpayment that will need to be repaid to either ESA, CTC or child benefit0 -

Isn't she likely to get more once she is placed in a group?
Is she on DLA/PIP?0 -

Hi I have just spoken to Child tax credits and they have told me that as long as my DD remains in full time education we will keep the child tax credits . Can you confirm this as I know mistakes can be made xxxxi cant slow down i wont be waiting for you i cant stop now because im dancing0

If she is getting contribution based ESA then you won't be treated as responsible for her https://www.gov.uk/hmrc-internal-manuals/tax-credits-technical-manual/tctm02214
If it is income-related ESA then any week they receive IRESA they do not meet the conditions of being a qualifying young person https://www.gov.uk/hmrc-internal-manuals/tax-credits-technical-manual/tctm02220
So either way, they are wrong. You need to ring them back and speak to them.
Before you do, you should get some advice from a welfare rights organisation as to what the best option is.
