I got this message via text this afternoon:
FreeMsg: Thanks for subscribing to FiiTR! http://c.fittr.com/Koq9 24hrs free then £2.99/week until you send STOP FTR to 80206. Free Helpline 08000885466
Needles to say I haven't knowingly subscribed to anything. Do I respond to it, or do I need to get my mobile provider (EE) to sort them out. Many thanks for any help anyone can give!

Yeah, it definitely happened whilst the phone was in my pocket!
Thanks for that. I've sent the STOP FTR text, and I've got one back saying that I've been unsubscribed so hopefully all should be ok now!0 -
if you keep getting texts from unwanted numbers and its obviously spam and not something that you set up by accident, to stop them just forward the text to 7726 (It spells S.P.A.M on the number pad) and if enough people do this then that number can be identified and stopped from annoying anyone again.

Ring up the helpline number given and tell them you did not subscribe and want to be removed.
Someone else here had this a few months ago

Just a cautionary word on doing this with 'Three'
I can no longer send texts (sending fails) and I've factory reset my phone, and spent an hour on the phone to 3 customer services.
The reason is that I forwarded a spam text to 7726 - the 3 system recognised the spam and blocked me from sending anything. So, only report spam to 7726 (or 37726 on three) if you want to get your text sending blocked.4kWp, Panels: 16 Hyundai HIS250MG, Inverter: SMA Sunny Boy 4000TLLocation: Bedford, Roof: South East facing, 20 degree pitch20kWh Pylontech US5000 batteries, Lux AC inverter,Skoda Enyaq iV80, TADO Central Heating control0 -
