Andy-nipping out till 4pm so pls don't think I'm ignorant if I don't reply straight away. The only reason I'm putting this USB wifi stick in is that I have an old ebay xp sp3 laptop & figured the usb wireless would give me better signal/connection (my speed is only 6 mbps upstairs wired in & between 4 & 5.2 on wifi downstairs). If you think (as you sound much more knowledgable than me!) that the usb stick will make no difference to connection please tell me as I don't want to waste your valuable time. Thanks!0

I dont think it will make a difference in connection speed.
TBH you are doing quite well already getting the WIFI speed that close to the wired speed.
I filled in the box on that form with some disposable details and i didnt get an email or anything so i guess your next step would be to contact the company direct and ask what the crack is0 -
Thanks Andy-your advice & help is veru much appreciated. Think I'll leave it for the time being...Thanks again!0
