Can't upload avatar anymore!

Why can't you upload your own avatar from your phone anymore? I've always been able to put my own in from my gallery on my phone. It won't do it now, and it says upload from your computer? Well I haven't got one. Do everything on my phone.
Why can't you do this now? It means I will never be able to change my avatar.
Most websites let you upload pics from your phone. Look at Facebook.
