Start of November last year I phoned to cancel due to price increases and was offered a good deal to stay, but had to give 30 days notice so new contract began in December.
In Feburary I noticed I was being overcharged and the reason being they didn't factor in the price increase and since then I phone monthly to manually get them to add credit.
Each time its around a hours phone call to sort.
However they started a new 12 month contract in Feburary which I wasn't clear about, as on the phone it sounded like the advisor was just holding the account till they removed the old credit amount and put the new correct ones on.
However I was still overcharged every month.
2 months ago they told me it won't happen again and 1 month ago got a large credit of £23.98 on account but my bill was still £32.51.
I was assured that this months bill will cover that so I will only owe about £12
I was shocked to in fact get a bill for £40.29, and was told this was due to a price increase that they "told me about" back in August and I owed 70p for call charges last month so its correct.
And then told me in fact I have been UNDERpaying as more was credited to my account than was due, oh and my contract ends in Feburary not December.
And therefore I can't cancel till Feburary and now must pay £3.49 more than I agreed to despite the original phone call in December saying it will be £36 for 12 months and I won't be affected by price increase, and in Feburary apologising and saying yes the £36 is for 12 months and I should never of been affected by price increase.
What to do next? I can't find high level complaints.
So now I am tied into 2 months more than I agreed, and at a higher price than agreed, and no leeway for the monthly phone calls.
Oh and no explaination for the last bill having £24 of credit and £6.98 showing as "owed from last bill"
What can I do?
