My partner was doing 'online chat' on the Ebac site and 3 minutes after 5pm, in the middle of asking questions, the woman he was talking to just closed the session.... to go home! He obviously complained but they didn't care, obviously not interested in customers like Foxy says above.

We had an ebac that packed up about 3 weeks after warranty ran out. Ebac weren't interested, they said "the warranty is the warranty" - honestly, that was it!

My impressions of them are now completely negative.

I have 4 (I think) - the Matsui is over 20 years old, used every night and still works well. Great buy second hand if you can find one.

wow, i just googled the Mitsubishi MJ-E14CG £349.99, very expensive. maybe i'll look at that one next time around though because if it lasts that long it may be worth the investment.

it seems like people are getting wise to ebac, a shoddy company with even worse customer service.

Our Ebac packed up last month the compressor was not starting, on checking we had purchased it with a free 5 year warranty four and a half years ago, contacted Ebac who arranged pick up and return at their expense and returned it in seven days working again, cannot complain about their service.
