Well this morning it struggled to start again, I got to work fine but while on route a yellow engine light came on, I will have to call green flag when I finish to take it to the garage, I have warned work I maybe off tomorrow as the car might be being repaired or if its costing a lot I maybe shopping for a new car. I have it booked in Saturday but may need to drop off tonight.
Could this be spark plugs, my partner said it could be due to not using it for 4 days while we were away and we got a freezing cold/snow day while away that it could be a froze pipe or something split due to cold weather.
water/oil looks fine but I don't think I had a lot of antifreeze in as with regards to my issue in june time I was forever topping up water as had a leak which was repaired at garage in july.0 -
Just an update, last Thursday I struggled to get car started from work, took straight to the guarage which they looked at on Friday for me.
The outcome was sparkplugs and coil change which was for the struggling to start.
they had to change thermostat thing as it was always showing at 150c even when not used and something do with coolant as well as antifreeze.
cost £200 in total which is not the best but I always do xmas shopping in oct/nov which I did again this year and we normally book our next years holiday in December but this year already booked
Very happy as was expecting it to be a big amount and have to fork out for a car and with saving for a mortgage I don't want to have to pay much out. that's while old car will do for now.0
