if you are using it primarily for watching programs, the Lenovo yoga tablets are some of the best you can get as they are designed for media consumption. and have a slightly different form factor to the rets of the tablet world, which is a marmite situation, but i find it makes them really comfy to hold due to the design

They have a built in stand, also front facing speakers (which are some of the best speakers on any tablet) and have pretty much the best battery life available (stated 18 hours)

But be aware, the yoga 3 tablets actually have a worse spec than the yoga 2 tablets, in that they have a lower screen res and weaker processor and less ram, but the trade off is better batter life and cheaper, as well as some funky things like a swivel camera and a button to pop out the stand instead of a grasp and twist.

anyways would be worth a look for the usage you have said
    Drop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
    10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
    20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)
