G1620 was out on Q1 2013.
How is it 10 years?
Don't tell me you compare it to pentium D...

Use WPS Office, it's free.
Regards to web browser, you can use Firefox, Chrome, Opera, etc.

Same spec as MY 10 year old PC which is an AMD 5200.

Geekbench scores are very close between the 2.

Currently running unclocked also, so i know i could improve on my scores.

For web browsing and office stuff it should be fine - are you using it?

For general use it will be fine and it's a good price, I've friends with a similar machine running Windows 8 and they had no issues with performance.

Haven't picked it up yet but it's arrived local Argos. If I don't pick it up before a certain date it will be sent back and I get refunded according to the email I received. But I don't really want to do that. I don't have time to pick up before the weekend.
