Paying too much?

in Water bills
Hey, I'm a student who lives in a 8 bedroom house with 7 other people in brighton. The property is unmetered and the supplier is southernwaters.
We currently pay 12.85 a month each, so 102.80 a month total.
I feel like this is a lot to pay for, as its well above the average, but I'm new to this.
Will be grateful for advice, thanks.

Welcome to the forum.
Before you can calculate if the bill is too much you need to find out the Rateable Value(RV) and if you are paying for surface water drainage.(SWD)
The RV will be on your bill, or you can get it from Southern Water. Ditto SWD.
Often for houses with charges based on the RV you only pay for 10 months each year.
For an 8 bed house in Brighton the charges do not seem high.0 -
Thank you very much for the information.0
