Flight club run by a UK chap

I'm not sure if this belongs here, but I saw this post hit the front page on reddit and thought some on here may find it useful too. This chap is a 'flight hacker' who sends out free cheap flight alerts about price drops and error fares on round trips from UK. He offers some useful advice if you read through his answers on the thread.

The airlines also look at these websites and blogs and error fares are often cleared up and itineraries cancelled fairly quickly.

  • Are they all? From what he writes on the reddit post, some are honoured if you book in time and the airline doesn't renege on the price.

So far I've received a few decent deals in my inbox, although no error fares just yet. Thinking of booking this one from today from Manchester to NYC if my husband is on-board:

Avoid online travel agents that you've never heard of that don't offer instant purchase ticketing, they're bound to call you and say "oh sorry the price has gone up"

The first rule of flight club ....
Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.

Thought I would come back and report on this. I was a bit skeptical, but it seems like a genuinely good lad sending out really cheap flights. My nephew booked one to LAX for £200 after he got tipped off with these email alerts earlier this week.
