Breaking in to our shed..

LARGE flat screwdriver, plus hammer, under the folding hinge
at the bottom in the photo, it will tear the screws out, easy to
make good afterwards, or covered by a new hasp lock.
This! Exactly how I'd do it, large screwdriver and a big hammer, one big blow will take this clean off.0 -
As said, screwdriver and big hammer, or angle grinder. For all those saying get a locksmith in, do you realise this is a money saving website??
Even changing the locks on normal door is a 2/3 min job and only cost about £10/20 a door, much cheaper than a locksmith!“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

Hi,
as above, then hasp and cheap padlock.
Shed might be empty when you gain access.
Anyway a lock is only there to keep honest folk out.0 -
I have this type of lock on my shed. I've locked my key inside the shed on a number of occasions and had to resort to 'picking' it with a thin window lock key or an old padlock key!
Wouldn't keep someone determind to get in out for long.0 -
Thanks all and sorry for my silence. After this the rendering fell off the back of the house and put a hole in the downstairs roof! So, needless to say, I quickly forgot about getting in to the shed!!!
When I manage to sort the house out, I'll have a go at the screwdriver and hammer!
We've changed the house locks so that's ok. The shed is in the back garden in a mid terrace. And it's empty so really would rather not get a locksmith in, at a cost, if I can break in
Thanks again, I'm sure I'll get in there soon enough.
Anyone want to come and render my house and fix the hole in the roof?!
