Hi I am looking to by both my daughters tablets each for christmas but am unsure if I am asking to much for my price bracket. I want something they can play games on, watch films youtube ect but most important for me (and least for them) something they can also do schoolwork on ie, word process ect.
I am confussed by all the samsung models and am currently looking at a samsung Tab A 16gb with card slot to increase memory / storage these are about £220 each. do you think this will meet my needs or is there something better for around the same price (they would love ipads but to pricy for me)
Thanks

That may well do for you but I would say the samsung s2 is a good quality tablet but that's £300 for the 8 inch version in currys. Could be cheaper elsewhere I guess.0

Ive just bought a Samsung tab A, its brilliant. 9.1 inch I believe.
I think its only 179 pounds in Argos at the moment.
Dont forget about the extra cost of a protective cover for the screen and a case for the machine.
Probably another 40 for each tablet.
Android is so easy to understand thoughmake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

It can depend on the quality of the tablet on how well it performs. An iPad may do for you but android devices can have things like kodi on them, iPads can't. Also iPads don't have slots for sd cards. Make sure internal memory is no less than 16gb. A keypad will appear on screen only when needed. I think you can connect keyboards to them. Never seen the need myself.0 -
I changed my ageing ipad for a Samsung tab A 10.1" tablet from Curry's for £219. Brilliant tab for surfing and film watching. Very fast, no lag and great screen.0

If they want it for school work and word processing, you are barking up the wrong tree wanting a tablet.Drinking Rum before 10am makes you
