Travelex supercard problem

Thanks to this site for telling me that I can get cashback on credit cards linked to my Supercard, I have tried to add a card. a John Lewis Partnercard (it's a Mastercard and so permitted). When I click on "Add a card", I get the usual message about contacting my bank. But when I hit "Continue", I get a screen message, for a couple of seconds so cannot read it, which refers to the XML file not having something associated with it and a lot of code. Then it just doesn't verify with a "We're still waiting on verification.....so check back in 2 minutes". Nothing happens so I remove the card and re-add it with the same result. I've added another card and then removed and re-added my main card - so is it just John Lewis? Any advice?

hey, at least you got a card. I phoned them a week ago to ask about waiting times to receive a card, was told two weeks max. so applied then received 'sorry there is a delay' email.
turns out they are unable to process any applications. but you only find that out after you have applied.
Hope you get your problem sorted though0 -
Sorry to hear about your woes, OOOO. Yep, my card arrived in a few days but I was leaving quite a bit of time before my trip [insert a smug smiley face here!].]
In the absence of replies, I've been reflecting over the week-end. Is it that store cards as opposed to bank cards are not allowed? The 2 cards I have registered are a Metro (the trip is outside Europe before that prompts anyone to ask why I'm worrying with a Supercard at all) and an M&S card - M&S may be a store but it's also a bank (I think).
But it would be nice to get some authoritative view. I only get 0.25% cashback on M&S as opposed to 0.5% on my John Lewis.0
