. I use this one, just leave out the fresh coriander, and I chop some chives into it for the green bits.

Thanks very much for the soup recipes, going to be batch cooking today (hopefully), as I want to restock at Aldi on their veg. I don't have almonds, but I will keep it for another time. Spent another £7, mainly vegan cheeses and nutritional yeast. Should last a while though. Have updated sig.0 -
Off to Aldi in a mo, only going to get 19p veg, hopefully. Have had a good
look in pantry and freezers, don't actually need anything so will try to be good and only buy the veg. Would probably help if I could leave the lovely man at home but unfortunately I don't drive and he does lol.Slimming World at target0 -
oh dear. even tho I gave myself an extra £50 this month I'm over budget with nearly 2 weeks to go
I have fully topped up my spice cupboard from spices of india website, who I have to say were really good and very speedy. cos I ordered so much to take advantage of the free post my sister said she'd have half so am due some money back.
my pal had double discount at the store she works for so let me use her card for a mega tinned and dried food and detergent shop that should last me well into the new year, so that should save me a few pennies at the beginning of the year.
have written my final shopping list for crimble and after it til the end of the month I cant see me buying any food but fresh bits. my sister will be giving their share of the food bill for their stay so i'll be able to claw some budget back.
I don't think i'll be beating myself up too much at the end of the year.0 -
DID IT only bought veg in Aldi, unfortunately no parsnips left but got 3 lots of sprouts, potatoes, brocolli, carrots and Little Gems, total £2.85.
That's it for me until Christmas Eve when I will get some fruit and hopefully some YS.Slimming World at target0 -

I looked at the spreadsheet earlier and thought we were doing really, really well at £150-odds... until I realised that we hadn't input the amounts spent on food for the party we had on Saturday
We are currently at £239.52, which is technically £50 ahead of where we would be looking to be at this stage in the month, but we really don't have a lot more to buy. We have main meals in the freezer to last us into he new year so it will just be top up shops - and, of course, food for when we host again on Thursday. It's never-ending0 -
I have been stalking for a while now and reading all your inspirational posts. I have attempted this challenge for a few years now and always failed and gave up. I have had my light bulb moment and I must get a handle on my issues (read debt) in 2017. Going away to inlaws for Christmas but will be starting as soon as we get home next week. No more shopping for me! I am looking forward to joining you all properly in the January challengeGrocery Challenge 2017: Jan £85/£300
