...ah the nomadic Linux tribe with no friends and no home who wander aimlessly through the plains of forums...
..indeed very similar to that Windows 10 tribe...you know the ones, that swore by windows 8, then Windows 8.1.. and now find themselves camped on something a little better than quicksand.
Heeeeyyyyy !!
Dont bundle me in with the linux fanbois (fanboix ??)
I think W10 is great but I hated 8 and 8.1 and i only go near linux if it is kali flavoured !!0 -
I cant say much bad about Linux mint, though rarely use it, getting to the opinion that it would be better than Windows 10.
The number of Linux servers at work grow yearly, and to be fair reliable, just no one knows how to modify or changing their configuration or do Cron jobs.
XP was good, but 7 was great. All that is left that is good is Windows Server and Linux (Mint).
Once they containerize apps to run under any os, then I think people will vote with their feet and walk, where to is anybodys guess?
I am thinking about ditching 10 an going back to 7 or Server, partially due to flaky and anonymous updates.0
