Haggle on double Virgin installation?

My son and daughter are moving into adjacent new flats and both want their own broadband service. They have both decided on Virgin which is available and I am wondering if it is worth trying to get a better price for two installations next door to each other albeit separate accounts?

Btw it is cheaper now to get Virgin Bb without phone line which has not been corrected in the MSE guide

TIA

  • The obvious MSE solution would be to share one connection between the two adjacent flats as I can't see any discount being offered by Virgin.

Why on earth do they want 2 connections! madness! unless they want 2 landlines? which I doubt.

    Sort them out!

    Thanks everyone

I take it that the main assumption is that the Virgin router wifi signal from the neighbouring flat will be good enough for both?

The main reason for wanting independent services is that one or both will only be using their flats on an interim basis and for different lengths of time. Also one is good with money and one isn't so doesn't want to be asociated with a problem contract!

    Neither want a landline service

    TIA Vigman

If they aren't going to be home much, even more reason to only have 1 contract.

The contract would only be in one persons name. Have it in the organised persons name/flat. Try it for a few months and see how it works out.

If things aren't good, and the flats are been used more, get a 2nd installation
