Going on the 24th November. Can anyone please advise the best place to change money....here or in country....other?

There are plenty of exchange shops around the touristic areas of Bali, you can shop around for better rates and haggle a little. But you will get the best rate by using a suitable card for travel such as Halifax Clarity, Revolut, Monzo, etc.Evolution, not revolution0

We took sterling and changed it easily.
BUT.....
Beware of unauthorised moneychangers in Bali.
They'll offer you a good rate but with sleight of hand rip you off.
They count out the money then pick it up and pretend to straighten the notes and drop a few onto the floor, thereby short-changing you..
