Recommendations for Bluetooth earphones for iPhone 7?
The iPhone 7 only has one socket, shared for both charging and earphones. This means you can't charge it and make phone calls at the same time, except for short calls where you might not need both hands free. One of the few ways around this is to use Bluetooth earphones.
I bought two sets of Bluetooth earphones from eBay for under £10 each, and although the received audio was fantastic quality and even good enough for music, the sent audio was terrible and constantly breaking up, meaning that the other party couldn't hear me. Obviously they were designed for listening to music rather than two-way phone calls. I got refunds on both.
Therefore can anyone please recommend some reasonably-priced Bluetooth earphones for the iPhone 7?

Sorry if I'm making a call I put the phone to my ear and I only use my Bluetooth headphones (Beats PowerBeats) when exercising so the phone isn't plugged in anyway and I've never taken a call when using them either. The PowerBeats are good headphones though, should have been £180 but I got a good deal.
Personally I don't find the shared port an issue.0 -
There are dual Lightning adapters available.
This is a slightly pricy Belkin one: http://www.apple.com/uk/shop/product/HKKP2ZM/A/belkin-lightning-audio-charge-rockstar?afid=p238%7CsZZJKxuOm-dt_mtid_187079nc38483_pcrid_104154899041_&cid=aos-uk-kwgo-pla-btb-slid--product-HKKP2ZM/A-UK
But there are probably cheaper ones around.====0 -
Yes, it's an absurd price for something that costs a few pence to make, and which is caused only by Apple's decision. Apple should have included this in the box.
That's a reasonable assumption, but I haven't found any, including on sites like dx.com, which usually have such accessories at a fraction of the price. But there are probably cheaper ones around.0 -
How about one of these?
£2.58

Edit
Or £2.99 from a UK seller

Thanks. The UK seller points out "Note: Because of the Phone system limit, it can only listen to music. it cannot answer phone and adjust the volume". Therefore I believe that I need two lightning sockets (or lightning plug to USB + lightning socket) rather than lightning+3.5mm.0 -
Looks like you're stuck for now then, at least until someone starts making a cheaper version of the Belkin.====0

Actually the design of the one you posted is much better than the Belkin - with a short USB cable to plug my iPhone into my laptop for syncing/charging and then a socket for the headphones. It's just that the socket needs to be lightning rather than USB.Looks like you're stuck for now then, at least until someone starts making a cheaper version of the Belkin.0 -
If I see any others I'll post a link.====0

The best for Apple is probably Apple: Apple Air Pods not yet released in U.K. as far as I know or at least the online Apple store is always "Currently Unavailable" as is the Apple store in Cambridge.

I use the Avantree Jogger Plus with my iPhone SE. Very good sound in the mid-tones range but not much base if music is your thing. However the NFC auto pair doesn't work for me.
