My mistake it is a mk 2 so I'm told, it's not stable, screen freezes, or jumps all over the place, rotation of screen will not always work, quite often won't respond to taps. Most times to get working again requires a full reboot. I'm just so fed up with it now. A bigger screen would also help. It's always been updated, running latest Marshmallow, apps updated as well. Have done many many factory resets, but never fixes it. Time to get something else I think.

Argos selling the Lenovo 10"version for £109.99, have just tried JohnLewis for price match, as they want £179. Like the look and social of the Lenovo, prefer to buy if possible from John Lewis if possible, never ever had a problem with them when it ever came to a problem, can't say the same for Argos, but should John Lewis not price match I'll go with Argos. I think Ebay one is refurbished. New would be better

I have bought about 8 of these discounted Lenovo Argos/Ebay tabs. Not a problem with any of them.

I noticed that they all appear to be brand new, perhaps the refurnish label on them is just a rouse to shift overstock by Argos or Lenovo?

Make sure you get the 2GB Ram as the cheaper one is only 1GB

  • i replaced an ageing ipad with a samsung tab A 10.1" with 2gb ram 16gb internal storage and an sd card slot.
don't regret it at all. great tablet. very fast, good screen. £219 from John Lewis or Currys (i prefer the JL buying experience if they have it in stock).
Highly recommended tablet for the money.

Have double checked and the Lenovo tablets from both John Lewis and Argos are definitely 2 GB models. I would trust John Lewis to have it right anyway. I'm sure they list things properly on there website. Hoping they do a price match.

Only reason I hesitate with Samsung as I had a Samsung mobile a while back and it was full of junk stuff which slows it down and couldn't be removed. Neighbour had small Samsung tablet a short while back with lots of junk on which you couldn't remove.

Most of what you call junk on my Samsung tablet and phones can be removed .
Failing that just make a folder and put the apps you don't want in the folder out of the way .
One mans junk may be another's must have .
