When was the last time that the Chinese Government removed money illegally from anyones bank account?

The current story is about Blu, and is not Chinese government spyware, it's the manufacturer involved...

from the link in the OP
The researchers began testing a Blu R1 HD after they noticed unusual activity on the phone. They found that the phone had been compromised and was sending sensitive information every 72 hours to a company in China called Shanghai Adups Technology.

The sent data included the contents of text messages, location information, contacts and call history with phone numbers, installed apps, and identifiable information about the handset. The backdoor, which had been highlighted by other researchers, could also be used to bypass the phone's security to control and reprogram the device.

I've had two Huawei phones, one in 2012 the other I got earlier this year (had a Samsung S3 inbetween- which was ok until the lag started 6 months in). I have so far not had any issues with security - if there are any they're fairly covert at hiding it.

I would imagine something like spyware would slow down my phone but actually I've experienced slowing at a far faster pace on an ipod touch and my old Samsung. I am not sure if this story is about all phones and devices that connect to the internet or not but it's not something I've noticed or had experience of.

Maybe if someone does they can post on here? Otherwise I'd ask for a bit more real life/personalised evidence than this tbh.

I bought a Huawei P9lite four weeks ago and I am very happy with it. To me it is just as good as any iPhone or Samsung AND HALF the price.
There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.

My comment was a reference to the comment about GCHQ and it's trustability...
