    When you have sold a few, the for sale sign stays up unless a holding deposit is stumped up or they sign the contract.

    Until that point it is at best under offer.
    I do Contracts, all day every day.

    Scotland is not much different, you had not signed contracts (which in Scotland can be just a few days or so before you get the keys) so anything can happen up til then.
