Get both - twice as nice!:)
And double the trouble too (in my experience).
It was lovely to see them curled up together after they'd wrecked the house with their fights for dominance though.

Yep Poll my life is spent conducting delicate tri cat negotiations
    Tomcat and pickle will kiss
    Tomcat and LBG will kiss
Pickle and LBG will hopefully ignore each other but usually smack each other in the face.

Add two dogs and OH into the mix and my house is bedlam

One other thing you should get is a brush - try and get him used to being brushed while he's young , otherwise it can be hard.
and a flea comb - sorry to introduce an unpleasant note but assuming he's going outdoors at some point it will be a problem.
As far as toys go , there's tons of stuff available but I would avoid spending too much money . Cats being the perverse little !!!!!!s they are you can pretty much take it for granted that the more you've spent on something ,the less chance there is of them deigning to go near it.
The best toys are balls - ping pong type or tinsel ones they can bat in the air
Fishing rod type toys (or even just string/wool) are good as well , but be sure and put them away if you're going out. One of mine once somehow managed to get the string wrapped round her paw , and then round a chair leg , and in her panic was tightening it . If I hadn't been around I think she could have really injured herself
also get a sachet of cat nip and rub some over your scratching post , it can help encourage the cat to use it. Or it might just carry on shredding your sofa anyway, that's cats for you !

I was tempted to get the kennel mate as well but seeing as these kittens have had such a bad start in life, thought best that our time was spent with just the one

He doesn't like his bed. He likes the sofa, the back of it preferably, just where the sun hits it and he can see down the stairs. It's handy as I can give him a wee stroke and fuss as I pass by

We got cat nip spray and the scratch post became his best friend last night :)

He's slowly learning to keep the claws in. I fuss his paws whilst he's relaxed

I've already introduced the brush , bristle and needle. I let him brush himself, I hold it, he pushes against it. Flea comb will be next

I guess he's getting used to the routine, we got to sleep till 7.30 this morning before he decided enough was enough :)

He's eating two 100gr pouches a day with 20gr biscuits left down which he tends to eat over night He looks forward to meals, but doesn't cry for them and takes his time to eat it

Once I can work out how to resize pictures I will post some

Awww he sounds lovely! I have two kittens who just turned 5 months yesterday (22 weeks today, time flies!)

Mine are brother & sister & hugely entertaining/naughty! I also had my dog PTS 5 months ago & my cat almost 4 months ago, so two kittens is a big change!

I can't wait to see photos, usually mine move too quickly to take any lol x

    Aw lovely update suki.

Make sure you close the toiled lid if the monkey is playing in the bathroom! Pickle uses it as a way of getting in the bath/watching me wash my hands.

My cat used to love playing with uncooked pasta twists.
We found this out when my OH dropped one when he was weighing out some for dinner.
He'd career round the kitchen batting it around until it disappeared under the fridge or washing machine which he found incredibly frustrating.
I miss the little sod. :(
