  • Hi all

I confess that I rarely use our "big" oven as I use the slow cooker and halogen oven a lot. That said it could still do with a going over.

So today; 4 hrs job no. 1, 3 hrs job no. 2, bathroom scrubbed, 30 minutes spinning and weights before work, kitchen units swished, worktops cleaned, floor hoovered and mopped, meatballs done for tea, clean washing folded and put away. Oh actually that sounds like quite a lot!

    Early night I think.
  • I'm here - thanks Valli :A - although I don't seem to be managing much flying at the moment! Anxiety is causing a bit of a problem :( so managing work and not a lot else :o

We couldn't see it for cloud, either kazw but there was a lot of light coming from behind those clouds!

Well tonight I've washed swim stuff and done my homework. Just waiting for the printer to get itself in gear. Glad I've done it, I hate leaving it till the last day. Also means I'm free tomorrow - yaay!

Have also tidied kitchen after tea, we hadn't made too much mess, and given the squeaks extra hay to keep warm and some more veg. Cage needs cleaning but it's too late now, they are tucked up and snoozing in their huts. I wonder if they'd like a bigger one next time, to share? I have a box actually, so might try it and see if they'd prefer to cuddle :)

I'm just going to play a few games on the kindle then off to bed for me.

    Night all xx

    Morning x

Thank you for the lists Valli and Natty X
We met ds1 girlfriend and her parents at the weekend.

I dropped Ds1 at the station yesterday and went to the dentist.

I'm just managing basics at the moment as I have a cough etc and my asthma is playing up.

Ds2 refused to go to his school awards evening as he usually doesn't get anything. He came home upset yesterday as he had won 3 trophies and they didn't give them to him.

I need to change my boys' bedding.

Morning all. Hope you're all ok.

40 mins before the paid stuff, so I'll just take a quick look at the list.

    Have a great day everyone.

Decided to give myself an hour this morning and do as much as I can in that time. Worked much better than spending the day thinking 'must do some cleaning!'
Managed to de-breakfast the kitchen and put away after last nights washing up (am I the only one who hates drying up?), get a load out the WM and another in, wash the nappy bucket and kitchen compost bun, swish downstairs bathroom and, from today's list I've done
Vacuum (most of downstairs actually) including moving some furniture
Clear away gibble. A large job as our LR is often a dumping ground.

Now gong to have a couple hours being poorly then back in the kitchen to make lunch and get dinner started. The fun never ends, does it?!

    Morning all

(((Hugs))) to dancemum and your DS2. With his needs in mind, I am amazed that the school did not tell you in advance that he really ought to attend if at all possible. I know it takes away the surprise, but when someone's not very good at coping with the unexpected, it's surely better to give them fair warning, and help them to enjoy the occasion.

Hope you feel better soon,Froddy x

Sorry I've been mostly MIA recently. I have had a lot of stress over a mistake which upset someone badly and was totally my fault; I'm falling behind with college work; and DH is being given more and more medical appointments - good that the checks are being done, bad that I have to drive him everywhere and lose a lot of study time. (Thanks for your comment, Honey Bear.)

Well done to Katzen and everyone else who is powering their way through the lists.

Our washing and ironing are up to date, the house is tidy if not spotlessly clean (kitchen and bathroom are good), and we have food in the F/F and cupboards, so flying is on the back burner in this house.
My goddaughter is coming to stay tomorrow for 2 nights - I always re-make the guest bed when I wash the bedlinen after guests depart, so at least I don't have to worry about that!

(((Hugs))) all round, spoons for all in need, and a big stick for all BDs.
