DG Ivar Baffle Plate Position

Options
Hi All.
We've had a multifuel Ivar since last December and have just started using it again. During a fire the baffle plate fell down and my husband had to hurriedly put it back up as best he could. We're not sure whether there should be a gap at the back of the stove, or a gap at the top/front of the stove.

Should it be placed so that the baffle basically sits on the vertical boards on the rear of the stove, so there's no gap at the rear, (that's visible anyway), but one at the top/front. Alternatively, should the baffle be pulled up so it can go no further (basically meeting the top/front ) so there appears to be a gap at the back of the stove?

Obviously we can check with our installer tomorrow, but these things never happen when they are available do they!!

Thanks.
