How long does it take to get your house on the market?

Hi I freely admit to being impatient but how long does it take to get your house on the market? From signing on the dotted line , getting an energy certificate check details and photos done and approved. Then having the house details online. I am only asking because I think I have chosen the wrong estate agents! Thanks.

When I sold last year, I was on line in less than 24 hours. As long as you have booked an EPC survey, the EA can market the property. The survey does not have to be completed in order for them to market it. And you can arrange your own EPC, you don't have to do this through the EA. Prices vary.

You really should have asked prospective EAs about their timescales and which web sites they use before appointing one :-(
