Virgin Media business BB nightmare

Been trying to order VM business broadband for over a month now

I have a new cabinet outside my house (ID:VLM22402) which is in and working and giving my neighbours (like the guy next door) broadband and TV

I have sitting in front of me a letter addressed to my home stating 'this home can now get Virgin Media'

So armed with this information (and the VM site accepting an order) I went online and ordered VM business broadband.

I wait 2 weeks and the day before the install customer service (an aspirational term) email and inform me my area is unserviceable and has no services.

I call the UK based sales team who place the order and escalate it only to have the overseas team cancel it. Despite me calling and giving the cabinet ID and one of their supervisors informing me he will have an engineer look at the cabinet.

Roll on the 'wait 48 hours' period and I call back to be told the order is cancel pending as the 'area is unserviceable' .
I asked when they looked at the cabinet (I have CCTV on my drive and I can see the bottom half of vehicles driving by).

At the end of my patience now looking for a refund of the deposit and waiting in a queue

I have
  • emailed the CEO- no reply despite a read receipt
  • emailed customer service a complaint- not acknowledged despite them having it on file and getting it and reading it.
  • called 8-10 times in the past 4 weeks
  • emailed 4-5 different people - still no further forward
  • spoke to the sales guy who confirms my area is operational but the database has not been updated

Do not go with Virgin Media is you want to keep your sanity
baldly going on...
