Cut up at roundabout
I'm in the rightlane of a roundabout with a clear right lane on the dual carriageway exit. BMW (had to be), turns from the entrance to my left and enters the left lane at the same time I enter the right.
My lane is clear, the BMW has traffic. I accelerate to overtake the traffic and the BMW indicates. I assume he will pull into the lane behind me? Instead, with a manoeuvre James Hunt would have been proud of, he slots the beamer between me and the car just in front of him in his lane.
I have to slam on the brakes, I use the horn to show my displeasure at almost becoming part of his vehicle. He then proceeds to brake check me repeatedly, he eventually pulls into a right turning island and I get a look at him.
To recieve a two fingered salute from a middle aged fat man. Which what really got to me, I could understand if he didn't see me or misjudged the lane switch. But he is outraged at me when his stupidity almost caused a crash.

What were you doing speeding up to overtake traffic on a roundabout? Were you trying to stop him getting in perhaps?
Also, your horn is not for expressing displeasure.
You should have dropped back when he moved in to your lane, irrespective of how he came to be there.
You both sound as bad as each other0 -

I sped up to overtake traffic in the left lane when I had exited the roundabout. We exited at the same time, I had a clear lane, I didn't expect him to attempt a lane change when he had so little space in his lane. I used my horn, because the BMW undertook with mm of clearance between both the car in his lane and the front of my car, forcing me to brake hard.
I didn't tail gate him, but after his movie style lane change he slowed down and kept slamming on his brakes randomly. At this point I was keeping well away from the lunatic.0 -

If you both entered the roundabout at the same time, and the BMW had traffic but you had a clear lane ahead, how did the BMW get ahead of you in order to move into the lane in front of you?
Are you sure that it wasn't a case of you accelerating to attempt to block an already manouvering BMW?0 -
Unnecessary use of the horn.0

Just get a dash-cam and run into them.
As long as the dash-cam shows that it is their fault for getting in your way, you will be in the clearI want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
