What Network Is Phone Locked To?
Options
Have found an old Nokia 1800 mobile & remembered i had quite a few photos saved on it.
There is no sim card in it or any network branding. I can't remember the network it is locked too.
Is there any way i can find out? I can switch the phone on but can't view any menu's or settings as there is no sim card in.

Get a few free PAYG SIM's from the main 4 networks- you'll not need to put credit on them!0

With any SIM inserted, even if rejected, it may give you access to the photos.Evolution, not revolution0

Not an exact science but check the contacts in the phone. Things like where the voicemail is registered to and how to access the customer service/support numbers normally are different per operator. From there you should be able to work out who the handset was last used with.0

A good idea, however sometimes these numbers are on the SIM card only0 -
A phone that old should cost zero or peanuts to unlock anyway, so do that and access with any SIM?
Are you sure it's not just PIN-locked, rather than network locked? No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

As said i can't get into any of the phones menus.A phone that old should cost zero or peanuts to unlock anyway, so do that and access with any SIM?

I've looked at getting an unlock code online. These services require you to know which network the phone is locked to before they can provide the correct code.
The phone isn't pin locked as it starts fine. Have tried a Vodafone & T-Mobile sim but no luck.0 -
What he said. So you can I think check it with a free Tesco Mobile or giffgaff SIM, which both run on 02.No free lunch, and no free laptop0

Actually I may be wrong about that. Perhaps it could be locked to Orange. I just found this.
