What can I expect from Tesco with regards my HUDL V1 power problems ?

I have not read all posts, but this is all personal experience.

Buying a Hudl1 battery:

There are lots of You Tube videos about Hudl 1 & 2. I have just replaced a Hudl1 battery, charging port and cable. Problems can be caused by people connecting charger cables upside down and forcing them, or conecting them while misaligned. This invariably breaks the charging port. I am also working on cannibalising 3 broken Hudl2's into one (hopefully) working tablet.
You have to understand that Tesco supplied the last Hudl2 last May, when stocks ran out and no more were made. There comes a time when you either give up on older tech, or repair/refurbish yourself. Which is better than taking it to the WEE dump, of course. There is also the fact, hard-learned by the owner of the above Hudl1, that without a backup, one device becomes useless as a store of anything treasured. Unless I can get her old Hudl1 working, she has lost all her family photos.
NOTE: buying ONE device alone, without a backup, is an invitation to loss of content.I think this job really needs
a much bigger hammer.

If that was the Lenovo TAB3 8, so did I!
And I love it. I use it more than this desktop now, best e - book reader I ever had, including Kindle. I also found out how to use my phone as a WiFi Hotspot for the Tablet. I am a 71 yo dragging myself into the 21st century.I think this job really needs

I really like the first few days of my new Lenovo; especially as it has not cost me a penny.0
