Before ordering on ebay you chose the method of delivery to your post code. The listing will then automatically tell you the cost of delivery depending on your choice of method of delivery to your post code.

    Thanks for the clarification.

Was there anything in the description about a surcharge. That's less justifiable, but would be interesting to know.

    That is irrelevant.

Postage should be set on the listing itself, not in the text.

I don't disagree. But I'm interested to know, regardless of what you think.

It isn't what I think. It is what should happen. Listings should be set up correctly. The description/text is not the place to put postage costs.

As I said, I don't disagree. But I'm still interested to know.

Thanks for trying to start an argument though.

    What argument?

I took your comment "regardless of what you think" to mean that you think my comments were speculation. I was merely pointing out they weren't.

If I've offended you or misunderstand I apologise. But I am certainly not trying to start an argument.

Perhaps not an argument, but a combative posting style and a desire to always be right.

I asked the question of the poster to satisfy my own curiosity. Whilst I agree that postage should be set up correctly, I have less sympathy for the original poster if surcharges were mentioned in the description.

I was interested to know, and didn't think it was appropriate for you to steam in and tell me it was "irrelevant". So, as I said regardless of what you think, which you have interpreted as me accusing you of speculation when I really wanted an answer to my question.

    Thanks for the apology.

I did not 'steam in' and likewise I have no 'desire to always be right'. I was stating the obvious, something which you seem to have missed.

    It is irrelevant.

The postage costs should be in the listing setup, not in the detail. There should not be surcharges in the text which aren't on the listing itself. A point made to help others who may not realise that either.

As I've said from your first post, I don't disagree. I haven't missed anything . There's not need to keep repeating yourself.

But I'd still like to know, because as I said it colours my opinion of the situation.

You're entitled to your point of view, as am I to mine. As I have said I don't disagree, and postage should be set up correctly.

Stop trying to shout me down. The original poster can come back and answer my question, or they can't, that's up to them.
