The only real butter which I have found, that spreads fairly easily minutes after taking it out of the fridge is Normandy butter, which we always used to buy when we went on day trips to France. It also seems to be a more yelow colour than our butter and the taste takes me back to my youth. I have not seen it over here, and I have not used any butter over here which even comes close.
Real butter kept out of the fridge in a butter dish doesn't go oily, even in the height of summer. "Spreadable" butters are blended with vegetable oil, therefore are no longer butter but become margarine.
