In feb we rented a house with a private landlord, we paid a years rent up front and also a £650 bond the young lady wanted a long term tenant and we wanted a forever home my husband and i are both 57 .fast forward 10 months and the house is being repossessed by the bank and she hasn't put our bond in to any scheme,so we lose 2 full months rent and our bond,and this person is a mortgage and pensions adviser

You also always have the option to sue your ladlord, though he may of course have no assets to pay you when you win....

You are never going to get a "forever home" renting, that's a wholly unrealistic expectation.
As said you can stay for some time, it takes time for the legal niceties to work before anyone comes to physically evict you.0 -

Not that much time if on top of not protecting the deposit this cowbag LL has been letting the property without authorisation from the mortgage lender.
She probably knew the writing was on the wall before this tenancy started which is why she asked for a full year of rent upfront and has kept the deposit as though it is her own money.0 -
Just aim to stay until the two months plus however long £650 covers is up, it will be very hard to legally evict you IMO. Get looking for a new house, and never pay a years rent up front again, or deal with a landlord that does not register deposits. Could be much worse, all this could have happened after the first couple of months?0

BTW I thought banks were treating repos differently than they did in the past, and doing everything in their power to keep the debt junkie afloat? Maybe the tenant could buy this property at auction or something?0
