Quick update. After sending in my last letter I got a reply today, only 3 days after I sent the letter. It states that they are sorry I feel the need to complain as they endeavour to ensure their "client's customers" are dealt with fairly and in a professional manner.
    So we are customers now.
And also enclosed is a copy of their complaints procedure which says they hope to respond in 4 weeks and resolve in 8 weeks

    who sent that reply ?

Nothing yet from BW Legal but I have just received a response back from the SRA from my complaint.
They basically said that they were already investigating BW Legal and that, once concluded, there would be one of three outcomes
    1) Nothing
    2) Asking BW Legal to amend their processes to prevent breeches in the future
    3) Sanctions against BW Legal

I think that the more of us that complain, especially now whilst they are being investigated, the better chance we have for sanctions. If the SRA receive potentially hundred of complaints they surely must act. So if you have received letters from BW Legal, and they will probably all be the same wording so will all breach the SRA code of practice, please complain to the SRA if you haven't already done so.

Don't hold your breath! I had the same reply dated 22nd September.

BW Legal in their reply to my complaint to the CSA, dated this week, deny they are being investigated and claim that I am making defamatory allegations in saying so!
