    The referral is direct from the GP using some sort of database . So the consultant will have details of basically what the consultant would have should it be within the NHS. Then if the consultant wants me on a medication that can be prescribed by the NHS then my GP could prescribe if GP is happy to share resblityy as he would be the prescriber . Exactly the same should it be a NHS consultant! Which explains the many times over the years the GP refused a dose until he spoke with the consultant.
