I have not informed them of a change of address, but am on the electoral roll at my new address and I have not lived there for 6 months.

I have not acknowledged the debt for 5 years and 10 months.

The judgement date on my middle report is 13/10/2016

    Hi

You don't have a statute barred defence then.

If you genuinely can't afford to pay and/or don't care about a clear credit file then it would be worth trying a set-aside. and trying some sort of defence.

But if you do need clean credit, and have available funds, as you are still (until the end of the week) within 30 days of the judgement, you should consider paying this in full and it will be removed from your credit file.

Unless set aside, do bear in mind if they have a CCJ the whole "6 years statute barred" thing does not apply.

Statute barred prevents them from taking you to court to get a CCJ, they have already done that, so no time limit on them taking you back to do an attachment to earnings or whatever.

Yes the debt is an old next account which I've heard nothing about for a long time

So you've avoided taking any action. Not a good start to a defence.
Is it worth me contacting Lowell for a copy of my credit agreement as the account was opened 17 years ago and I do not believe I signed anything?

    Did you receive the goods?
