On a secondhand pine coffee table with lots of white water marks I followed advice on the net. I placed a cotton cloth over the stains and then ironed them. Totally counter intuitive, but it worked.
I read that as 'a secondhand pine coffin'
Who uses a second hand coffin? :rotfl:0 -
Of course. Many on Google speak with forked tongue or are cranks. But you believe what you read on this forum?

When you've got all the marks off, you'll then need to repolish the rest & ebay has shellac & beeswax at pretty reasonable prices.
Just get very "thorough" about not being disturbed as letting even a little dust into the not yet finished polishing process leads to some pretty severe language.0
