Doing a late notification of a car accident when it was dealt with privately?

As previously posted, this delay (jumped from 5 to 7 weeks in 3 days??) won't cause a problem.
Just explain the circs for information only and tell them you have sorted the issue privately with the third party. (You will have to tell them you accepted the blame)
(Don't mention the neck issue!)
You can always inform the guy of your action if you want to (though its his call whether or not he has reported this to his insurer)
If I do this notification, will it mess the other guy up? What I mean is I went into his lease car. I will have to give his reg number and worry his insurance might be bad to him as a result. We both agreed to do it privately, should I still do the notification only incase of a injury claim against me?0 -
If you decide to report the incident then you can inform the third party you have done so, then it's his call whether or not he wants to report it. ( Ie. Not your problem)0
