Is this Kitchen Laminate Worktop joint acceptable?

joint looks as good as you can get, Is it level? put a ruler or even a credit card across it, if there is no gap under the edge then it is level, and you are only feeling the joint with your fingernail.0

We have two of those type of joints in our kitchen worktop which was fitted six years ago, you can hardly feel them and they are practically invisible and difficult to see unless you know which way they run.0

I think that's pretty good to be honest , at the end of the day it's 2 pieces joined together , so will never be invisible .0

Summer Dreams join is inferior to Head The Balls. That one I WOULD moan about.0

It's not terrible but it's not great either and I don't really agree with the comments of it's as good as it's going to get, from the photo the joint is pretty damn obvious.
It's really not expecting too much to have a well blended joint that is hard to see and certainly should be level, whilst quality of worktop will play a part I've had joints on real low end b and poo worktops that have come together with a neigh on invisible finish .0 -

I've found the better quality laminate worktops are always nice and flat whereas the cheaper ones can be bowed/cupped across the worktop width which makes getting them nice and flat along the joint almost impossible.
Its impossible to get an invisible joint in a laminate worktop like you can in Wilsonart/solid surface worktops where you sand/polish the joints after joining them. I guess people have different expectations but personally I think the Head the Balls worktop joint is acceptable.
On "Summer Dreams " worktop it looks like the installer got the length wrong on the female part of the joint.0 -
Should have used black colourfill on OP worktop - otherwise it's a good joint.0
