  • Sod it get a gaggia c £170-400, choose your roast and you are good to go , alternately buy a £2K m/c and enjoy. Oh and of course it all depends on your water quality. Keep your machine clean and the pressure will stay fine and the crema will always satisfy your taste, in Essex the water is pants we have tried bottled water but that still contains (im)purities?

    Best idea is go abroad , buy bucket loads of espresso (Spain/Italy) and reheat in the microwave ...just joking

    The alternatives work fine, and Nespresso are not permitted to attempt to threaten to invalidate your warranty. And have the merit of being available in supermarkets; there aren't many places where you can buy the Nespresso ones over the counter.

    Are the ones in Lidl any good ? Heard they are half the price and pretty decent. I am keeping an open mind snd intend to try a wide range of suppliers .
