Anyone got any idea what the best nespresso machine out there would be?

They are not very moneysaving - the coffee pods to put in the things cost a fortune.

All machines are very much the same.

Keep an eye out as around Christmas they usually have an offer which includes vouchers for the Nespresso shop.

They are moneysaving as they are cheaper than Costa!

We have the lattissimo that does the hot milk too, we've had it 2 years now and use it every single day. I think there's the usual xmas offer on at the moment of £75 vouchers to spend on coffee on the Nespresso website/shop.

We do buy the official pods, but the Lidl ones at £1.79 for 10 are fine for everyday use, especially if the have the 'viola' ones. Sainsburys own brand are very good too £2.50 for 10, and the Starbucks ones are very nice.

As far as the coffee they all work the same, the larger models are better if you have a lot of people using it as they are more sturdy hold more water and the descaling cycles were longer as well.

If you live in a hard water area I would probably filter all the water first and you will have to descale it more regularly.

I would also pop into a Nespresso store and give them a try first btw

I don't think it matters what brand of Nespresso machine you buy, they are almost all made by the Swiss company Eugster Frismag AG.

    I've got one of these...
    https://www.amazon.co.uk/Nespresso-Magimix-M190-Coffee-Machine/dp/B001UE9H6S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1478329950&sr=8-1&keywords=magimix+citiz+milk

I use it every day, love it. Yes the pods are a bit expensive to buy but the consistency and quality make them worthwhile. I have tried supermarket pods but never found any to beat nespresso pods.
    Well worth it imo

eta, sorry that link is so huge ;-)

We have both Tassimo and Dulce Gusto machines. Yes the coffee is a bit more expensive but it is still significantly cheaper than any of the retail coffee chains and tastes far better than instant coffee.

The MSE thing to do is buy the reusable pods that you fill yourself with whatever coffee you prefer.

    Like these on fleabay.

And of course you can get them for the Tassimo machines too.

Torn between 4 machines the pixie, the citiZ, inissia and the higher end latissima touch.

I am more of an Americano or espresso guy but having the option of latte or cappuccino is a bonus.

Is the latissima worth the extra 80 quid ?
