    #580 - £85.42 but I started saving only recently.

I’m not going to continue though as I use my money at different stages but good luck everyone and feel free to reuse my number.

    Thanks for organising!

Many congratulations on a great sum, debtaghh!!!!!:T:dance: I'm so sorry to hear that SPC isn't for you, but you know what's best. Sorry to lose you though.

Got in the tin :j thanks for the tips - definitely need a different style pot next year.

    Number 17 - total £88.71

really pleased with that, just think what I could have saved if I had carried on all year. Such a lovely surprise it will be spent on Christmas treats. Also found the coin I put in that was left outside the doorstep on new years eve and taken in new years day (I had forgotten about that).

Thanks for running the thread, looking forward to next years.

It’s so exciting reading everyone’s totals!! You’ve all done so well and are huge motivation for me to keep this up next year.

I found a nice, new, shiny £1 at the pool today. That’s my next pot started :D

Sue - have you not heard of a Dutch dash before? Do they not call it this anymore? We get on our local ferry at tea time, eat, slew, and wake up in Europe! Do the same that evening and find ourselves back in sunny Hull. Dutch dash! Hoping to get a good deal for next Easter for the boyfriend to treat him.

Some great totals declared so far - really well done everyone.

I won't quite finish counting tonight as I've got a yellow china pig with loads of silver in it (feels heavy anyway) but with everything else counted I'm only just over 5 pounds short of my £500 target so will be absolutely over the moon with my final count. Will post it tomorrow

Sue - As so many have already said, Thank you so much for all your kind words and encouragement to all of us. Many other good people on this thread too. PS - How nice to see Cazzie back to declare her final total. Sometimes it's reassuring to know that people are still OK.

In a sense, iammumtoone, you could say yours is a lesson learned to save hard ALL year, on the other hand you’ve still done incredibly well and I was absolutely chuffed to read how much you had managed to weasel out of your tin. :dance:Didn't do so bad after all eh! :D Congratulations on some really great potting!!!!!!! :j:T:jBetter still next year then!!!

Isn’t it looking good 32b3, and we’ve barely touched the surface yet as there are plenty more SPCers out there who have still to declare. Let’s hope they don’t take too long!

No I’ve never heard of it, DancingUnicorn, I had visions of it either being a game or a Dutch man with an infection needing to relieve himself... quickly! It all sounds very exciting though so why not spend your money on something you really enjoy! Enjoy yourselves whenever you manage to go. A great find with the pool £1, great start too! :D

Oh yes MrsShazbat, Mr Cumberbatch would be so proud of you with such savings! You really have done a great job, many congratulations to you!!!!:T:dance:

You carry on counting, Antomac, and be sure to include every penny. So far things are looking so much better for you than I'd feared, you too by the souns of it and I couldn't be happier for you Ant. :D I agree with you in that it's so good to be reassured about members who have been missing.. safely back in the fold including Cazzie! ;)

Would it help if you changed the title and added in "time to declare" or similar?

It was just by luck I happened to glance at thread today and timed it right :)

I am subscribed so it would have jumped out at me if the title was changed - just a thought

I think I see what you mean, iammumtoone, but it might then cause problems to new members looking to join us - unless you mean change it somewhere else??

I keep a Reminder thread going on the main DebtFreeWannabe board, but also it could help if members were to put the date in a diary or... stuck to the bottow of their pots! :rotfl: Something similar.

Do let me know if there was any other way you meant though as I'm always open to different and helpful ideas, and I far sooner members spoke out. :D

Please folks, be sure to allow me the chance to put all relevant posts (4 in total) on to SPC 11 before adding your own. I will then put a link onto this thread and from then on, this thread can ONLY be used for declaring. Thanks so very much. :)
