Is it time to count? I am afraid I have failed this year, started off well but dropped out during the year :( however everything I put in the pot is still there, will have a count up and declare soon.

Well done to everyone for some of the large amounts, I am envious and wish I had kept it up.

Please can I keep my number if I promise to try harder next year?

    I NEED HELP!!

I can't open my tin :rotfl: It came from £land and is a sealed tin like a baked bean tin. I planned to open with a tin opener but the lip is too tall/big so that doesn't work :(

Any idea how I get into it?

    Thanks

    Evening potters

The day is finally here and it's been great reading all the lovely totals coming along.

    I'm thrilled to declare at
    £3843.51

    :j :T :T  :T :T :j

I'm really chuffed as that will easily cover our holibobs in Valencia at the end of the month, with a fair dab left over.

Thanks a million Sue and all of you for all the encouragement and support over the months - you're all brilliant :A

Yes, turn it on its side and press along the seam - it will eventually split

I have the same tin, hubby uses a tin opener but cuts around the inside instead of round the top (like the old fashioned tin openers used to do, so it cuts the lid inside the lip) Try angling the tin opener down the side instead of over the top and it should work :)

    #580 - £85.42 but I started saving only recently.

I’m not going to continue though as I use my money at different stages but good luck everyone and feel free to reuse my number.

    Thanks for organising!

That’s perfectly okay Niknak, Just so long as you’re happy! :D

Wonderful potting done rockabillygirl, I’m so chuffed for you. Many congratulations to you!!!!! :j:T:j

That’s perfectly ok, iammumtoone, do your best as that’s all that’s important. Your No is yours and will stay yours so no need to worry!
Re your pot, is it any good if you turn it upside down? If that doesn’t work, then is there a seam down through it vertically? Someone else suggested that breaking the seam was the best way of opening it. If that fails then see if you can find someone you know in your neighbourhood who could force it open with a hammer and chisel. The very best of luck to you and please let us know! :)

I’m so thrilled you have such a great amount after potting so regularly, Chutney! Many congratulations to you, it’s so good to read the excitement in your post!!!!!!! :j:T:j

Oh my word Lynne, that’s fantastic news!!! I’m delighted for you and to know you’re doing something so wonderful with it!!! So many congratulations to you and do let us know when you’re going!!!!!!!!:T:dance:Thanks a lot btw.

Wonderful potting for you too, Muppets, really delighted for you and many congratulations on your achievement!!!!!! :j:T:j
