Completing "Office" forms when only have Libre Office

Thank you "Fights Back". I thought I had loaded the latest Libre Office programme, since it was fairly recently, but after clicking on your link, there have been two more since then. An hour later, I have downloaded the last edition, and clicked on the default 'endings' to make it into a Microsoft Word document each time (docx). (I couldn't see the details on your link, unfortunately, but when I went into YouTube to see a larger view, it brought up someone else talking through the motions, which was easier to see and hear, and have done so this way.
I never knew there was such a thing on YouTube before, so thank you!
That said, I still need to know how to complete a downloaded (Word) application form on a pc with only Libre Office. (I didn't see that on the YouTube listings.)
If you know this, or know of a 'tutorial' somewhere, I would really appreciate it, since time is getting on and I still have the blank form to complete.
Thank you.0 -
"Heedtheadvice" - if Libre Office will edit Office Word forms, how do I do this, please, because when I click on it, I don't get anywhere. (I have tried a few options, but still no joy.)0

Thank you "Debitcardmayhem" - I have now opened the application form via Libre Writer (which I'm afraid that I didn't know that that was what I was supposed to do) and it seems to be (so far!) letting me edit!
Now just got to go through pages of repeat text and send off!
THANK YOU ALL for your contributions.0
