The time stamps on all posts on the site are an hour ahead of real time and it's increasingly annoying as the week goes past!
Surely the forum team realise we're back to GMT now?

I can't say I'd noticed. In my UserCP I have it set to automatically detect DST (Daylight Saving Time) settings.
And this reply has the correct timestamp.0 -
Ok ok you got us! Resetting the forum clock is something we have to do manually. And we're super happy that our forumites are paying attention enough (and care enough) to let us know.

Your UserCP settings override the default, so you would have only seen the wrong timestamps if your setting were wrong or you logged out so the default were shown.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

We are used to it, and are probably expecting it ...

Eh? What part of "automatically detect DST settings" will override the default? The only options are Automatic, DST On or DST Off. So unless the forum team had reset the clock between the OP and my reply, I should have seen the "incorrect" post time stamp.0 -

Yes, and if you had it set to auto, that would have corrected it for you while logged in. So would have appeared ok to you, even if the underlying site time was still an hr out.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Ah, I understand now. And looking at one of the links Mandelbrot posted helps further.0
