Online banking link arrived for the new mortgage. Must get that set up and put the first overpayment to it. Even if its a penny or two it all adds up and look at EH here paying off a squillion years early.
Dreams do come true you just have to work bloody hard at the plan.

Absolutely loving Tuesday's dinner though! :T
Very glad to hear the waggy ones behaved themselves at work yesterday too.
Takes a bow on the mortgage thing. Remember ours was relatively small - only just over 100k when we started, but on the other hand we didn't get the benefit of the low interest rates there are out there now - lowest ours got was the final 5 years at 4.34% I think it was. HOWEVER - I'll still have to say - get the OD's shifted BEFORE thinking about the mortgage - otherwise you'll just be sending yourselves round in circles.
If I remember rightly we compromised by setting a £10 p/m overpayment to start with to scratch the mortgage-itch whilst clearing that loan down first.

Well meal-planned :j :j Very impressive. Mine currently looks something like this:
Saturday - takeaway
Sunday - at family do so probably stuff in something there
Monday - staying late at work then off to pal's house so might grab a butty on the way
Tues - dunno, maybe pizza
Weds - going on holiday straight from work so likely go out for a curry when we get there
Thurs - dunno, still on holiday
Fri - again, probably doughnuts and ice cream or something :rotfl:

French Onion :rotfl: the fella is heading to france soon so testing his menu on us.
And yes, deeply sensible of course, I'm charged with largely sorting myself out financially the overpaying section of this establishment will be using the overpay instead of the 'pay now' in the online guitar shop.
Did I mention we have a new baby guitar in the flock.

Ours started around the 200 mark - its now down a fair chunk with two years payments and remortgaging took it down by years a bit further too. Tracker though so whilst tis good right now we need to be canny and watch it.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Working on report today again - man I love a 7 day week (NOT).
Be glad when this is over, ironic really as I'd been dumped with it again (not my turn) and had offered loads before the job started as, well, you know I'd have less time.
Hey ho, got this dumped on me at 9pm the day before my new job started never a dull moment.
DS away to work, DH working on his MSc so essentially here it feels like a monday.
Heating pump decided to turn its toes up the the heavens. Engineer out on Monday so be thankful this isn't smellivision.
Grannies pancakes for breakfast (no EH not those English sort or American ones
) which were fluffy and fabulous.
Pan fried prosciutto and maple syrup covering Italy, Canada and Scotland in one plateful.
